Jarek on the Official spore forums has told us that US EA store pre-order now has the date at the 20th of May. We have also been getting reports of other people having their Pre-Order date of May 20th.

Update: Daunstopable1 has confirmed this, he was sent an email by EA US last week that it has been delayed.

[...] Spore Expansion Delay Official I’ve just found proof on Sporedum that The delay rumors for the newest Spore expansion are indeed true. Recently, people who pre-ordered Spore: Galactic Adventures have received notifications or emails with the new release date being May 20. They haven’t stated a reason for the delay though, whether this was because of several other games being released on March or development issues is still open for debate, but I’d expect Maxis/EA to make a statement on it in the coming weeks. Ah well, I sorta had a feeling it was coming, seeing the delays in other games. I suppose I can hold out for a few months more. At least by then I’ll have birthday money to spend on the expansion!

lol I sort expected a game like that to be delayed but it’s a real bummer for me. I really was looking forward to play it twenty four seven during my spring break. O well theres always summer.
I was so expecting it in like 4 day i could taste it..well you know of well…guess i’ll make more creations to fill my mission filled planets…
